We believe the most ambitious people should work on the most important global problems. We need our brightest minds to make pandemics history, end factory farming, fight the tobacco industry, safeguard our democracies – and these are just a few examples. Moral ambition is the will to make the world a wildly better place. To be one of the best, but measured by a different standard of success.
In our community, we welcome ambitious and idealistic professionals. Some of them have a traditionally successful career, but question if their work really makes a difference. Others have been idealistic, but feel their contribution could be (much) larger. All of them want to multiply their impact by sharing their network, knowledge and experience. Today, our community counts 6,000 members and is growing every day.
Our events bring community members together — whether it’s informal Community Drinks or a large-scale Summit or Conference, they all serve the same purpose: fostering meaningful connections and inspiring action.

about the role
The ideal candidate is social, reliable, and hands-on. While event experience is a plus, it’s not required — enthusiasm and a willingness to help are what matter most!
As an events volunteer, you’ll be added to a group chat with the rest of the volunteer team, where we share requests for help and communicate event details.
Key responsibilities
As an event volunteer, you’ll play a key role in creating a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests. Your tasks may include:
- Welcoming and registering attendees
- Assisting with coat check and name tags
- Keeping refreshments stocked (e.g., refilling the fridge)
- Assisting with audiovisual support
- Providing general event support wherever needed
- Timekeeping during breakout sessions

- Passion for the concept of moral ambition.
- Alignment with our founding principles.
- A proactive and enthusiastic mindset when assisting at our Amsterdam-based events.
